The Brett Downey Safety Foundation was established in 2004 by the Downey family. Jim Downey went to great lengths to assemble a wide variety of knowledgeable people within the motocross community. Through the years, the Foundation has received advice from a collection of people within the industry. This valuable input from volunteers has served an integral part of the Foundation’s goals, literature, and future. Without their input and support, the Foundation would not be where it is today.

The list is not limited to those below, as the Foundation has hundreds of riders and parents throughout the years providing valuable input.
