The Brett Downey Safety Foundation (BDSF) is excited to announce they will be at the 7th Annual Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross (RCSX). It’s the biggest two-day amateur supercross event on the planet. Following Saturday night’s Daytona Supercross by Honda, amateur racing kicks off Sunday, March 6 and continues on Monday, March 7, 2016.
The BDSF will send Ricky Rickords to help with the safety operations of the event. The BDSF has shipped out their fleet of Safety Lights for the event. Just like the professionals on Saturday, the amateurs will have safety lights and caution flaggers on-site. Rickords will work with the caution flaggers by holding meetings and reviewing the BDSF Caution Flagger Educational material. Furthermore, he’ll be there to operate the BDSF safety lights.
