2015 was a banner year for the Brett Downey Safety Foundation. We expanded on our National Safety Program by attending and assisting more events than ever before. 2015 marked the year we officially introduced our Safety Lights. It was a goal that our Chairman Jim Downey wanted to achieve. We were able to add to our fleet of safety lights. This assures we have the sufficient means to cover even some of the longest motocross tracks.
In 2016 we look to continue to expand our National Safety Program by attending and helping more events than last year. We also plan to increase our local participation in Southern California. This has proved more difficult than expected. There are some tracks here in Southern California that accept our help with open arms but there are others that won’t return our phone calls. Our goal is to strengthen our relationships and create new ones locally.
We’re excited about 2016. We would like to thank all our supporters during the past 10+ years. Without your support, we would not be able to do the things we love doing….. helping motocross become safer!
Our services are at no cost to track owners and promoters. All our donation dollars go directly into our program.
